Our Story
Jill and Luke met during their freshmen year of college at the University of Cincinnati in October of 2018. Jill would arrive early to their shared calculus class to work on homework in the hallway outside of the classroom. Upon noticing this Luke decided to make a habit of showing up early to class so he could talk to her. After class one day while walking Jill to her shuttle stop Luke asked Jill out. They had their first date at Cane's which Luke found out that she liked during one of their hallway conversations.
From there Luke and Jill just clicked. They spent the rest of their freshmen year falling in love. Throughout the rest of their college experience together they have had many late-night study sessions, coffee dates, take-out dinners, and group hangouts. All of which was made better by getting to experience it with the love of their life by their side.
Luke planned a trip to Red River Gorge in May of 2022 with two other couples. After taking longer than anticipated to get there due to stopping at Wendys, Starbucks and then shopping for a forgotten swimsuit, Luke was finally able to propose to Jill. Luke got down on one knee after a hike on top of the Natural Bridge where she of course said yes.
